This role is for a chemical manufacturing and FMCG business, focusing on overseeing procurement activities. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the entire procurement process, developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships, and negotiating commercial terms to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance. The position requires a professional who can align procurement activities with broader business objectives. The incumbent will handle material availability and ensure that all sourcing strategies support the operational needs of the manufacturing environment, specifically dealing with raw materials, packaging, and production supplies.
Tanggung jawab: Managing the procurement process; Developing supplier relationships; Negotiating commercial terms; Ensuring material availability; Achieving optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance; Evaluating quotations, cost structures, and commercial terms; Conducting procurement analysis and reporting.
Kualifikasi: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably within a chemical manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or other manufacturing environment; Strong knowledge of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost analysis; Experience in procuring chemical raw materials, packaging materials, production materials, or indirect materials is highly preferred; Strong negotiation and analytical skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems is preferred; Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
