AI & Automation Engineer

Location: East Java (On-site) Employment Type: Permanent We are looking for an AI Engineer (Assistant Manager level) to support the company's digital transformation by identifying opportunities to automate business and manufacturing processes using Artificial Intelligence (AI). This role will work closely with Production, Engineering, Operations, and IT teams to develop AI-based solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and decision-making. The successful candidate will also lead a small team of developers and manage AI implementation projects from planning through deployment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Automation Engineering. Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading a development team or technical projects.

Experience implementing AI or automation solutions in manufacturing or other industrial environments is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficient in Python . Good understanding of Machine Learning and AI concepts. Experience working with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

Familiar with SQL and working with databases. Experience integrating applications through APIs. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
