• Production Management : oversee the assembly process for electronic products, ensuring timely and efficient production
• Monitoring production schedules and ensure targets are met within the specified timelines
• Optimize assembly line processes to improve productivity and reduce waste
• Ensure proper utilization of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials
• Quality Assurance : Implement and enforce quality control procedures to minimize defects and rework
• Ensure all assembled products meet quality standards and specifications
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to address and resolve quality issues
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the assembly line
• Process Improvemen t : Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the assembly process and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to improve product design for manufacturability
• Providing training and support to the warehouse team to continuously develop their skills
• Collaborating with the wider operations team to resolve any issues and implement process improvements
• Maintaining detailed records and reporting on the team's performance and productivity
• Requirements :
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or certification in electronics or a related field may be acceptable, especially if combined with significant experience
• Typically, 4-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Experience in the specific type of electronic products being manufactured (e.g., consumer electronics, automotive electronics, home cares)
• Proficiency in understanding electronic components and assembly processes
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools used in electronic assembly
• Familiarity with quality control standards and testing procedures
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations and standards
• A relevant degree or certification in assembly electronics
