Materials Engineer Auxiliary

Tanggung Jawab

• Material Evaluation & Testing
• Support testing and evaluation of auxiliary materials including papers, filter components, adhesives, and packaging materials
• Conduct physical, functional, and basic chemical tests in accordance with internal standards
• Analyze test results and support investigation of material-related issues
• Material Qualification & Change Management
• Support qualification and validation of new or alternative materials
• Assess material change impacts on product performance and manufacturing processes
• Participate in material change control activities, trials, and documentation
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with R&D, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams on material-related topics
• Provide technical input during pilot and production trials
• Supplier & Documentation Support
• Review supplier specifications, technical documents, and certificates
• Maintain material specifications, test methods, and engineering documentation
• Continuous Improvement & Compliance
• Support initiatives to improve material performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability
• Ensure compliance with internal engineering standards and quality systems
• JOB REQUIREMENTS :
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Tobacco Science, Food Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience ( Familiarity with industries such as tobacco/food/pharmaceuticals is preferred )
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and conversational skills)
