About the role We are seeking a Purchasing (Mandarin Speaker) to join QMPP (QINGDA MASPION PAPER PRODUCTS) in Sidoarjo, East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our supply chain operations. As a Purchasing professional with Mandarin language capability, you will be instrumental in managing our procurement activities, particularly those involving Chinese suppliers and partners. Your expertise in purchasing and inventory management will directly contribute to optimising our operational efficiency, cost management, and maintaining strong supplier relationships in a dynamic manufacturing and logistics environment.

Key responsibilities Source and identify new suppliers, particularly Chinese manufacturers and vendors, conducting thorough evaluations and negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms Manage purchase orders and ensure timely placement, tracking, and delivery of raw materials and components required for paper product manufacturing

Communicate directly with suppliers using Mandarin language skills to facilitate negotiations, resolve issues, and maintain positive business relationships Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams to optimise stock management and minimise surplus or shortage situations Conduct price comparisons and cost analysis to identify opportunities for procurement savings and improved value for money

Prepare and maintain detailed procurement documentation, purchase records, and supplier performance reports Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure purchased materials meet required specifications and standards Liaise with logistics and transport providers to arrange efficient shipment and delivery of purchased goods

Attend supplier meetings and participate in negotiations to establish or renegotiate supply contracts and payment terms Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to maintain high standards of service and reliability What we're looking
