About the role Stella International Holdings Limited is seeking a Purchasing Specialist (Mandarin Speaker) to join our procurement team in Sidoarjo, East Java on a full-time basis . This is a strategic role within our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics division, specifically focused on Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory management. As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be instrumental in optimising our supply chain operations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our operational efficiency and contribute to the success of our growing organisation.

Key responsibilities Source, evaluate and select suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with quality standards and cost requirements Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the organisation

Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock management systems to prevent shortages or overstock situations Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement needs and timeline requirements

Track shipments and manage logistics coordination to ensure on-time delivery of materials Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and vendors, facilitating clear communication and relationship building Maintain detailed records of purchases, invoices and supplier performance metrics

Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements Resolve supply chain issues and coordinate with suppliers to address discrepancies or delays What we're looking
